Let me do some calculations on how to mate the two output transformers as "one" while combining the 2 dual EL84 stages into the style needed for your project. This means the power transformer would run cooler by virtue of 4 amps less current being drawn. The 5U4 needs 3 amps at 5 volts, the GZ-34 draws only 2 amps. You certainly don't need dual 5U4 rectifiers.one GZ-34/5AR4 would suffice AND you wouldn't need as much filament current to light the tube. If it were my project, I would gut the circuitry and settle on an amplifier schematic to clone from, such as a Vox AC-30 or maybe a Fender or Marshall style preamp and using the AC-30 output stage design, cathode biased. You also have tone circuits that are balanced and would be very involved in trying to convert into a usable guitar amp. You have two output amplifiers, one for Bass and one for Treble. After looking at the schematic, it appears to me there are several things to consider about the circuitry involved.
